The secondary school Certificate is a public examination in Bangladesh conducted by educational boards as completion exams of secondary education in these countries. The SSC is supported by the books of classes 9 and 10. The books for classes 9 and 10 are the same in Bangladesh. Students of 10th grade/class ten can appear in these examinations. This examination is very important to get admitted to colleges or higher secondary schools.

SSC Result 2024

A total 20, 47, 779 students are expected to take part in the SSC and equivalent examinations under 10 education boards began across the country. Among the candidates, 10, 24,363 are male and 10, 23,416 are female. The examinations are going to be held at 3,512 centers in 28,884 institutions. A complete of 1,635,240 candidates will sit for the SSC exam under nine general education boards, 281,254 for Dakhil exams under the Madrasa Education Board, and 131,285 for the vocational exam under Bangladesh Technical Education Board this year.

The examination was rescheduled to February 3 from February 1 to facilitate the deferment of the polls to the 2 Dhaka city corporations.
